Supervisor, Lee District
Jeffrey C. McKay was elected Lee District Supervisor in November 2007 after serving as chief of staff to former Lee District Supervisor Dana Kauffman from 1996 through 2007.
Supervisor McKay is a sworn Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Fairfax County. He is a Fairfax County representative on the WMATA (Metro) Board of Directors and chairs its technology committee. Additionally, he chairs the Fairfax County Board’s Transportation Committee, Legislative Committee, and co-chairs the Board’s committee on Community Revitalization and Reinvestment. He also serves on the Smart Savings/Smart Services joint Board of Supervisors/School Board budget task force.
Supervisor McKay also chairs the Southeast Health Planning Task Force. He is a former board member of United Communities Ministries (UCM) and the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Committee on Reapportionment.
Supervisor McKay earned a B.A. in Public Administration from James Madison University and is a graduate of the Sorenson Institute of Political Leadership at the University of Virginia. He lives in the Groveton section of Lee District with his wife Crystal and daughter Leann Madison.
