The Fairfax County History Commission was
established in 1969. The commission helps identify,
document, record, and preserve our county's historic past
here in Northern Virginia. Our commission's 20 members are
appointed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, and meets
on the first Wednesday of every month.
