Message from Supervisor McKay
Dear Lee District Neighbor:
In this newsletter, I report on how we’ve achieved positive results for Lee District in the critical areas of transportation and revitalization. We have a balanced County budget that preserves core services and we’re moving ahead with improvements to Telegraph Road and South Kings Highway, removing some of the worst bottlenecks in the district.
(You may have already read about these issues in my print newsletter; you’ll find more detailed information here.)
On a lighter note, summer is the best time to enjoy some of the things that make Lee District a wonderful place to live. We’ve continued our free summer concert series every Wednesday evening from June through the end of August. (We’re in a temporary location near the Lee District REC Center basketball court during construction of a family recreation area, spray park, and fully-accessible tree house.)
My staff and I are here to answer your questions and help solve problems. Please don’t ever hesitate to contact us. You can reach us at 703-971-6262, firstname.lastname@example.org, and on the web at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/lee/.
