This position has been filled!
Work with an experienced person to co-chair the
semi-annual Kings Park Friends of the Library
Book Sale using existing guidelines and procedures. Major
responsibilities include assisting with advertising
and publicity, recruiting volunteers, scheduling
volunteers and working during the sale. The
book sale is held in May and October. The
week prior to the sale and the week of the
sale, the co-chair will work approximately
20-30 hours. The rest of the year, the co-chair
will work as needed (an average of an hour
per week). The funds from these popular book
sales help supplement the needs of the library
