- Date range
Once a newspaper source has been selected, the corresponding dates are automatically entered in the "beginning date" and the "ending date" boxes. These dates may be used in order to retrieve index entries from the broadest possible date range or they may be modified for a more refined date search. The date format is mm/dd/yyyy (i.e. 04/18/2000 for April 18, 2000). To request a specific date, enter the same date in both boxes.
- Newspaper index types
To retrieve all types, check the "search all newspaper index types" box or designate the type(s)
to include. Including advertisements may significantly increase the search results and the response time.
