Editing a Hold
For an item which is not yet available for you, you may change the pickup location you've designated.
For an item which is available for you, please contact the library branch where that item is waiting for you.
You may create, remove or edit the date you would like your hold request to expire. Note: When the expiration date passes, the hold will be removed from your account. This is not the same as suspending a hold.
Change pickup location
- Login to the catalog by entering your library card number and password.
- Select "My Account" in the top banner.
- Select "Review My Account."
- Select the "Holds" tab.
- Check the box next to each title you wish to edit.
- Select the branch you prefer from the drop-down menu.
- Select "Edit Selected Holds."
Create, remove or edit an expiration date
- Login to the catalog by entering your library card number and password.
- Select "My Account" in the top banner.
- Select "Review My Account."
- Select the "Holds" tab.
- Check the box next to each title you wish to edit.
- Enter your preferred expiration date in the field labeled "Expiration date:" by using the calendar feature or enter the date in mm/dd/yyyy format. Enter NEVER if you do not wish to have an expiration date.
- Select "Edit Selected Holds."
Access to your account is not available from 11:30 pm - Midnight daily.
