- Matt Dembicki publishes the award-winning small-press comics Attic Wit and Mr. Big. His work has appeared in numerous comics anthologies, including the SPX (Small Press Expo) Anthology, Show & Tell and Stripburger (an alternative comics’ anthology from Slovenia).
- Matt Dembicki used to collect and make comics in high school. He quit both when he went to college. Years later, he meet his future wife, Carol, who introduced him to the Sandman series. This sparked Matt's interest in comics again. After a 15-year hiatus, he was making comics once more. Matt and Carol have collaborated on many comic book projects, including Mr. Big, the first graphic novel published by Little Foot Publishing.
- Mr. Big won the 2007 national Day Prize, which has been awarded since 2001. It consists of a $500 prize and a plaque awarded annually at the Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo (SPACE) in Columbus, Ohio.
- He’s currently working on the weekly Web comic Spadefoot with fellow artists James West and Andrew Cohen and on a number of other projects.
