Gordon Korman, known for his contributions for the 39 Clues series, was
interviewed for BookCast by Fairfax County Public Library Director

Gordon Korman, the author of more than 50 books for children and young adults, wrote his first book , This Can't Be Happening at Macdonald Hall at the age of 12. The book was published a year and a half later when he was 14. By the time he graduated from high school he had published several more. Scholastic published his next 20 books.
Korman’s books and series cover a wide range from the comic to the action/adventure. He has developed or contributed to more than a dozen series, including 39 Clues, Nosepickers, Dive, Islands, Everest, On the Run, Jeremy Blum. He has also published more than 20 independent books, the most recent are Pop and The Juvie Three.
A Disney TV series, “The Jersey,” is based on his series The Monday Night Football Club.
