Reston writer Alan Orloff is the author of Diamonds for the Dead, a stand-alone mystery set in his hometown and Killer Routine, the first in his Last Laff series, to be published in April 2011.

He is a member of the Mystery Writers of America and International Thriller Writers, the Writers’ Center in Bethesda, and has completed the Herndon Police Department’s Citizen Police Academy.
