Burke Centre Library opened its doors to the public in June of 2008. The light filled, lodge-like space located just off the Fairfax County Parkway is a welcome home to commuters and the neighboring communities.
Burke Centre Library was designed and constructed under the Leadership Energy In Environmental Design (LEED) program, sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council. The library is certified with a Silver Rating. It is also the first library in the Fairfax County Public Library system to offer drive thru services.
Our active Friends Group encourages you to join, volunteer and share in our service to the public. As you travel up and down the parkway, the friendly Burke Centre staff invite you to stop by, browse our shelves and take a moment to rest and refresh.
