The Dolley Madison Library opened in 1957 on the site of the old McLean Post Office and moved to its present location in September 1967. Collections include a variety of books and media for all ages, with emphasis on popular fiction and nonfiction. The current building, located conveniently between the McLean Community Center and McLean Central Park, will undergo a major renovation during 2010-2011 to upgrade and expand services to the community.
