• Exit 52B (old exit 6 East) to Annandale, on Little River Turnpike, Route 236.
  
• The library is approximately 7 traffic lights from the beltway on the right.
  
• After passing Popeye's Fried Chicken, look for the library on the right at the corner of Hillbrook and Route 236.
  

• Exit on Little River Turnpike, Route 236, West towards Fairfax. (Route 236 is Duke Street on the east side towards Alexandria).
  
• Follow Route 236 for approximately 7 traffic lights.
  
• The library will be on the left, at the corner of Little River Turnpike and Hillbrook.
  

• Take Gallows Road to Columbia Pike.
  
• Turn right on Columbia Pike and take an immediate left onto Evergreen Lane (by the 7-11 store). Evergreen Lane connects Columbia Pike to Route 236 (Little River Turnpike).
  
• At the end of Evergreen Lane, the library will be directly across the street. Cross over Route 236 and make a right turn into the entrance.
  

• Take Columbia Pike to Annandale (about five miles).
  
• Turn left on Evergreen Lane. Evergreen Lane connects Columbia Pike to Route 236 (Little River Turnpike).
  
• At the end of Evergreen Lane, the library will be directly across the street. Cross over Route 236 and make a right turn into the entrance.
  

• Take Backlick Road into Annandale.
  
• Turn right at John Marr Drive.
  
• Turn right onto Route 236, Little River Turnpike.
  
• Continue two blocks.
• The library is on the right at the corner of Hillbrook and Route 236.

• Outdoor lot parking is available free of charge.

• Metrobus 29C Northern Virginia Community College/Annandale (M-F a.m. service only; approximately every 30 minutes)
• Metrobus 29E Braeburn Drive/Annandale (M-F service; infrequent trips)
• Metrobus 29G Annandale (M-F p.m. service only; departure times vary from 12 min. to 60 min. intervals)
• Metrobus 29H Annandale (M-F p.m. service only; approximately every 12-18 minutes)
  The trip to the library takes approximately 20 - 25 minutes.
  
  
  From the King Street Metro Station (served by the Blue and Yellow lines):
• Metrobus 29K George Mason University (M-F, departure times vary from 30 minute to 60 minute intervals)
• Metrobus 29N Fairfax Circle (Saturday, approximately every 60 minutes)

  The trip to the library takes approximately 30 - 35 minutes.

  From the Pentagon Metro Station (served by the Blue and Yellow lines):

• Metrobus 16A Annandale (M-F; approximately every 60 minutes)
• Metrobus 16B Annandale (Saturday, approximately every 30 minutes....Sunday, approximately every 60 minutes)
• Metrobus 16D Annandale (M-F; approximately every 60 minutes)
• Metrobus 16E Annandale (Saturday and Sunday late night limited service )

  The trip to the library takes approximately 30 - 35 minutes.
  
  

Metrobuses 16A and 16E stop at the intersection of Columbia Pike and Evergreen Lane. There is a Magruder's Grocery near the stop. Head south, cross Columbia Pike and walk approximately five blocks along Evergreen Lane. At the intersection of Evergreen Lane and the Little River Turnpike (Route 236), the library is across the street.

Metrobuses 16B and 16D have a closer stop at the intersection of Little River Turnpike and John Marr Drive. There is a Pep Boys Automotive Supercenter near the stop. Cross John Marr Drive, passing a Popeye's Famous Fried Chicken to the right, and walk approximately two blocks east. The library is on the right, at Little River Turnpike and Hillbrook Road.
