- Take the Dulles Toll Road (Rt.
267) to the Herndon-Chantilly exit. Exit right onto
Elden Street.
- Take Elden Street 1.5 miles (through
6 traffic lights) to Center Street, which is one block
beyond the light at Elden and Grace Street.
- Turn left onto Center Street;
proceed 1-1/2 blocks to the library on right.
- Take Rt. 7 to Dranesville Road
(Rt. 228). Proceed south on Dranesville Road to Park
Avenue.
- Turn right on Park to Monroe Street.
- Turn left on Monroe to Elden Street.
- Turn right on Elden to Center Street.
- Turn right on Center; proceed
1-1/2 blocks to the library on the right.
- Take Rt. 28 north to Sterling Road
(Rt. 606).
- Turn right on Sterling Road (Rt.
606) to Elden Street.
- Turn left onto Elden Street to
Herndon. Take Elden Street to Center Street.
- Turn left onto Center Street;
proceed 1-1/2 blocks to the library on the right.
- Take Rt. 66 or Rt. 50 to the Fairfax
County Parkway.
- Turn north on Fairfax County Parkway
to Spring Street.
- At the bottom of the ramp, turn
right onto Spring Street. Take Spring Street to Elden
Street.
- Turn left onto Elden Street.
- Turn right onto Center Street;
proceed 1-1/2 blocks to the library on the right.

- Parking is available in the lot
to the left of the library, in the parking garage
to the rear of the library, or on Center Street. The
library is handicapped-accessible from the lower level.
- Fairfax Connector Route
5S travels from
Tysons Shopping Center, west on Leesburg Pike, across
north Reston, and west on Baron Cameron Avenue/Elden
Street, stopping near the Herndon Library.
- Fairfax Connector Routes 5V,
5Y, and 5Z come to Grace Street which is one block
west of the Herndon Library.
