The Kings Park Library opened in October, 1972. It was expanded
and renovated in 1992 and reopened in June 1993. This
has always been a very busy community library and today
is one of the two busiest in the system. Kings Park is
known for its wonderful staff, enthusiastic public, and
large volunteer force. The Friends of the Kings Park Library
are a very active group, which generously supports branch
activities. Service to children of all ages and their
parents/caregivers has a high priority at the Kings Park
Library.
