The Sherwood Regional Library has been serving residents of the historic Mount Vernon District since 1971. The library's collections and services reflect the diverse population in the area. A computer lab and a varied program of free, hands-on technology courses helps community members across the digital divide. An active Friends of the Library group provides programming for all ages, including literature programs for adults and professional performers for children. An extensive volunteer program offers a wide selection of choices for citizens wishing to share their talents with the community.

Due to flooding, the library was closed on Friday, May 9. The first floor will open on Sunday May 11 at noon. The second floor will be closed, and the computer lab and book sales will not be available. The elevator is also not operational. We apologize for the inconvenience.
