ANDREW CHAPEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

9201 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, Va.

In the early 1800's a Methodist Episcopal congregation began meeting in a chapel on Towlston Rd. This church, located about a mile north of Leesburg Pike, split c. 1844 and one group formed Andrew Chapel. The cemetery contains several hundred headstones and wraps around two sides of the 1855 church building. A new church was built in 1963-64 just across Trap Rd.
