WAKEFIELD CHAPEL METHODIST CHURCH


8415 Toll House Rd., Annandale, Va.


The church was built in 1897 on land given to the Trustees of the Methodist Church by O.G. BESLEY. It was constructed under the leadership of Rev. ELHANEN W. WAKEFIELD, the first pastor. The church is now owned by the Fairfax County Park Authority and is used as a community meeting place. The cemetery contains 20 gravestones and an unknown number of unmarked graves.
