Cemetery is situated
just east of Forestdale Elementary School. The 2100
sq. ft. cemetery is on land that was once part of "Oak
Grove Plantation". The manor house, c. 1820, stood
on Franconia Rd. until 1996. The graveyard is surrounded
by a 56' x 68' chain link fence and a 35' x 56' cinder
block wall within the fence. There are 11 remaining
headstones and an undetermined number of unmarked burials
present. There are fragments of gravestones and a few
bases scattered about the site. The cemetery is very
overgrown.
