Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery

8741 Lewinsville Rd., Great Falls, Va.

The church was constructed in 1897 on a 1 acre parcel (Db Q:202). The congregation began meeting in the Odrick's Corner school c. 1892. The church was active until 1967, when they merged with Gunnells Chapel to form William Watters United Methodist Church. The church building was used by other denominations and later sold. Plans to convert the church to a residence and later to demolish it both failed, and the building stood empty for many years. It has recently been restored by a group of local residents as a community meeting hall.
