Mount Comfort Cemetery was established in 1946 as a non-profit corporation (Charter Book 6:103) and the formal dedication took place in 1949. Lotz Funeral Homes, Inc. of Houston, Texas bought the cemetery in 1981 (Db 5583:1673).
