Davis Family


GOVERNMENT CENTER PARKWAY, FAIRFAX


This cemetery was located at the site of the Fairfax County Government Center. Four burials were removed from the cemetery to Fairfax Memorial Gardens in April 1987. The two existing headstones were placed on a grassy spot about 25 yards south of the main entrance to the Government Center as a memorial.



ADAM DAVIS
Born: MAR 10, 1785
Died: MAR 20, 1854
Inscription "May he rest in peace." The grave was removed to Fairfax Memorial Gardens in April 1987. The headstone was placed near the entrance to Fairfax County Government Center complex.



ELIZABETH DAVIS
Born: AUG 7, 1783
Died: 186
Wife of: ADAM DAVIS
Date of death indistinct on gravestone. Inscription "I know....my redeemer liveth." The grave was removed to Fairfax Memorial Gardens in April 1987. The headstone was placed near the entrance to the Fairfax County Government complex.
