SLAVE CEMETERY - BEAUFORT


7301 Georgetown Pk., McLean, Va.


The stone house at this address, "Beaufort," was built in 1940. The Historic Landmark Survey for Beaufort records "An old slave cemetery with unmarked graves occupies the corner of the property according to local tradition." The exact location of the cemetery has not been established.
