The cemetery is located immediately east of the tennis courts at Herndon Intermediate School. The plot is about 30'x 150' and contains no visible gravemarkers or obvious evidence of burials. A WPA Historical Inventory submitted by H.C. Mullen of Herndon, Va. (Feb. 24,1935) recorded the burial of "Wm. Kitchen, Born Feb. 1st 1789, Died Dec. 2nd 1850." (The written report does not make it clear whether there was actually a gravestone.)
