Lindsay Family

LORTON CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, LORTON

The cemetery is located just outside the fence on the south side of the Lorton Correctional Facility. The Lindsey Family Home "Laurel Hill," c. 1776, stands about 100 yards southeast of this small cemetery. A low pipe fence surrounds two grave markers, both of 20th century origin. There are doubtless other burials, but the area had been landscaped making any count of grave depressions uncertain.
