Slave Cemetery - Compton Rd.

Located @100' west of 13911 Rock Still Ct., Centreville, Va.

This cemetery is reported to be the slave cemetery from the old Croson Family farm. The site contains 16 clear grave depressions, several of which are marked by fieldstones, but there are probably additional burials present. Plastic storm fencing was placed around the site when construction of the adjacent houses began, but has since fallen. Three of the graves have been dug into, two of them deeply. The cemetery is wooded and neglected (5/27/94).
