DAVIS FAMILY CEMETERY

Fountainhead Regional Park, Clifton, Va.

This cemetery is located on park land @1/2 mile southeast of the dead end of Sylvan Way. Family tradition holds that the cemetery was established c. 1860's. The old Davis home was destroyed by fire during the Civil War, and a newer house was built to the east, but is now gone. There are nine burials arranged in two rows, all clearly marked by fieldstones and/or depressions.
