#1 - Route I-66 West:
From I-66, take the exit for Route 123 South (Chain Bridge Road).
Continue south on Route 123 just over a mile
Turn Left onto North Street. Get into left-turn lane.
Turn Left onto University Drive
Turn Right into the first driveway on the right that leads into the library’s underground parking garage.
#2 - Route 236 and I-495:
From I-495, take the exit for Route 236 West (Little River Turnpike).
Continue on Route 236 for 4 ½ miles.
Merge Right onto Old Lee Highway, just after Main Street Marketplace.
Get into the right lane and turn Left onto North Street. (You will pass by the library.)
Turn Right onto University Drive.
Turn Right into the first driveway on the right that leads into the library’s underground parking garage.
#3 - Route 123 North: (via I-495, Braddock Rd,
or Routes 1 & 286)
Go north on Route 123 past George Mason University and Inova Emergency Care on the right and the Fairfax County Courts Center on the left.
Turn Right onto North Street and get into left-turn lane.
Turn Left onto University Drive.
Turn Right into the first driveway on the right that leads into the library’s underground parking garage.
#4 - Route 123 South: (via Routes 29, 50 or
I-66)
Turn South on Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road).
Turn Left onto North Street and get into left-turn lane.
Turn Left onto University Drive.
Turn Right into the first driveway on the right that leads into the library’s underground parking garage.
#5 - Fair Oaks Mall:
Take Route 50 East to the intersection of Routes 50, 29/211, and Route 236.
Go straight across the intersection onto Route 236 and continue for about a mile.
Turn Left onto University Drive. Go 1 1/2 blocks.
Turn Right into the first driveway past North Street that leads into the library’s underground parking garage.
#6 - Route 50 via Old Lee Highway:
At the intersections of Routes 29, 50, 237 and Old Lee Highway (traffic circle), take Old Lee Highway toward Old Town Fairfax (past Home Depot).
Turn right onto ramp of library’s underground parking garage. (just after McDonald’s)
