Want your browser to "remember" your library card number?

If you are using Internet Explorer:

• At the top of the Internet Explorer toolbar, select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options"
• Select the tab for "Content"
• On the area titled "Personal Information", select "Auto Complete"
• Select "Use Auto Complete for" these items "Forms"
• You may elect to also "Use Auto Complete for" this option "User Names and Passwords on Forms", but do so with consideration as this may be unsafe if multiple people use your computer.
• Select "OK" twice.
• The next time you visit the library's catalog, start typing in the "library card number" box. When you type "2", the rest of your card number will automatically fill in for you.

If you are using Firefox:

• At the top of the Firefox toolbar, select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options"
• Select the tab for "Security"
• On the area titled "Passwords", make sure the “Remember passwords for sites” box is checked.
• Select OK and return to the browser.
• The next time you visit the library's catalog, enter your library card number and password in the upper right corner and select the login button.  You will be prompted if you would like to save your ID and password.
• Whenever you revisit the catalog, the library card number and password will automatically be filled in for you. Select the login button and proceed.
