What is an
eAudiobook?
eAudiobooks are books that
you download from the Internet and listen to on
your computer or any other device that can play
Windows Media Audio (.wma) files.
Checking
out eAudiobooks
eAudiobooks may be checked
out for three weeks. You can check
out up to 10 eAudiobooks at one time.
You will need a Fairfax
County Public Library card to check out eAudiobooks.

OverDrive provides access to hundreds of eAudiobooks and eBooks. Titles are listed in OverDrive's online catalog. eAudiobooks may be enjoyed on your Windows computer and may be downloaded to selected portable
Windows-compatible mp3 players. If you see you may copy the eAudiobook to CD. You will need to download a copy of the OverDrive Media Console to use this service. You must also have a Fairfax County Public Library card. For information regarding permitted uses of downloaded audiobooks please see the copyright notice.

and hundreds of eAudiobooks on a wide variety of subjects. After you log on you will need to create an account with NetLibrary. Titles are listed in the NetLibrary
online catalog.
eBooks may be
read on your PC or laptop using your Web browser. They may not be downloaded or copied to a CD.
eAudiobooks may be enjoyed on your Windows
computer and may be downloaded to selected portable
Windows-compatible mp3
players. They may not be copied to CDs. NetLibrary eAudiobooks cannot be used with Ipods. For
