All Fairfax Reads
All Fairfax Reads, the library’s
community-wide reading program, is now in its eighth year. This year’s
selection is the memoir,
Little Princes: One Man’s Promise to Bring Home the Lost Children of
Nepal by Conor Grennan.
Grennan’s book recounts how a three-month volunteer stint
in a small Nepalese village transformed into a personal mission to
reconnect trafficked children with their families. Grennan’s team has
reconnected almost 300 families with children they feared were lost to
them forever. Little Princes has been described by one reviewer as
“funny, touching and tragic.”
Plan to attend special All Fairfax Reads events in September including Little Princes author Conor Grennan's appearance on September 21 as part of Fall for the Book.

“The beauty of this book is partly the fact that it is a memoir. But
it is also more than that. I defy you to not be inspired or moved by this
saga.”
