All Fairfax Reads

Sharon Bulova.The Submission.

The Fairfax County Public Library invites county residents to participate in the ninth annual All Fairfax Reads, a "one book, one community" project that encourages adults to read and discuss the same book between May and September. The 2012 selection is The Submission by Amy Waldman. Read more about the book and author.

"I hope everyone in the county will join me in reading The Submission by Amy Waldman. A good book can encourage us to reflect on ourselves and our community, and I think this book will do that," said Board of Supervisors Chairman Sharon Bulova. "I also hope it will generate conversation which is our goal with the annual All Fairfax Reads project."

Fairfax County Board of Supervisors

Plan to attend special All Fairfax Reads events in September including The Submission author Amy Waldman's appearance on Sept. 27 as part of Fall for the Book.

Discussion questions are available for book groups and others who are interested.

If you enjoy The Submission, you may enjoy these additional titles.

All Fairfax Reads is cosponsored by Friends of the Reston Regional Library and the Fairfax Library Foundation.
