Access Services. The Friends of Access Services group was formed in 2005 for the purpose of providing advice and assistance to the branch manager of the Access Services library. The Access Services branch of the Fairfax County Public Library provides a broad range of library services to people with disabilities who cannot read standard print and to those with special needs who are unable to visit a local library. In the spring of 2005 a Friends of Access Services mission statement was developed and approved by the group and in the fall of 2005 the group was recognized by the Library Board.
