The Friends of the Chantilly
Regional Library were founded in April 1996. The community
responded enthusiastically and the group had grown to
over 100 members. The Chantilly Friends held their first
book sale in May 1998. Their fiscal year runs from April
to March.

The Friends of
the Chantilly Regional Library generally support
the branch and the public by providing funds for:
- Programs
- Furniture and equipment
- Supplies
- Volunteer recognition
- Eagle scout projects
- Landscape improvement
- FCPL Foundation scholarships
- Many other items, events and activities

Items may be brought to the
checkout desk. Receipts are available.
Donated items become the property of the Friends
of the Chantilly Regional Library and may be placed
in the ongoing or semi-annual book sale unless
they are selected for inclusion in the Library's
