Friends of the Kingstowne Library
The Friends of the Kingstowne Library formed in June 2000
to coincide with the grand opening of the Kingstowne Library. The group
is small, but actively dedicated to maintaining an ongoing book sale and
other funding pursuits and activities.

Mission Statement
The Friends of Kingstowne Library is an organization dedicated to
supporting, improving and promoting the Kingstowne Library.
Accomplishments
The Friends have provided frequent children’s programming such as puppet
shows, have purchased additional shelving and display furniture, have
provided supplemental newspaper and periodical subscriptions, and have
consistently supported the volunteer programs and Summer Reading Program.
Membership
We welcome new members to join us in supporting the Kingstowne Library.
Donations of time and funding are welcome.

Book Sales
Ongoing.
Donation Process
Donations are collected and processed by Friends and staff several days
each week. The ongoing book sale is re-stocked at least once per week.
