The Friends of the Martha Washington Library recognize the need to supplement and enhance the services and facilities provided by the Fairfax County Public Library at the Martha Washington branch.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Friends of the Martha Washington Library includes:
Publicizing library services to all segments of the community
Encouraging all to use the library
Providing volunteer help and stimulating giving to the library
Holding programs of community interest
Funding branch needs not covered by the library budget
