Fairfax County Public Library’s Nonprofit Grants & Funding Research Center offers access to two of the Foundation Center’s databases and to a core collection of their print materials. The Foundation Center is a national nonprofit service organization recognized as the nation’s leading authority on organized philanthropy.
Foundation Directory Online Professional, updated weekly, provides the most current, comprehensive, accurate information on U.S. grantmakers and their grants for nonprofits.
Foundation Grants to Individuals Online consists of over 8,500 foundation and public charity programs that fund students, artists, researchers, and other individual grantseekers.
There is no charge to customers for use of the databases, which are available on a first-come first-served basis. No appointment is necessary.
