The cherry trees, a gift from Japan in 1912, bloom annually in Washington, D.C. around the Tidal Basin between the National Mall and the Jefferson Memorial. In 2007, the Cherry Blossom Festival will take place between March 31 and April 15. The parade will be held on Saturday, April 14.
