Fourth of July

*
Fireworks are set off to celebrate the Independence Day of the United States.

Parades, music, picnics, and fireworks! The United States of America celebrates its Independence Day on the Fourth of July.

The Declaration of Independence was approved and signed by John Hancock at the Continental Congress in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776. Although final official ratification did not come until August 2, 1776, we celebrate July 4 as the official day of our independence from England. The date is usually celebrated with patriotic parades and concerts of patriotic music, picnics and barbecues with family and friends, and fireworks displays.
