Halloween

*
Ghostly.

Halloween is a pagan festival held on the evening of October 31, when the spirits of the dead are supposed to return to haunt their former homes.

Halloween is celebrated in the United States, Canada, and the British Isles by children going door to door wearing costumes and begging treats and playing pranks. Witches and demons are supposed to be abroad on this night and many Halloween costumes have their origin in ancient pagan ceremonies.
