March Madness refers to the NCAA Men’s Division I and Women's Division I college basketball tournaments that occur in March every year.
Sixty-five schools compete in the men's single elimination tournament while sixty-four schools do so in the women's single elimination tournament that determine the national champions.
The final four teams in the 2007 men's tournament were Georgetown, U.C.L.A., Florida, and Ohio. On April 2, the Florida Gators won its second straight championship by beating the Ohio State Buckeyes, 84-75.
Tennessee beat Rutgers 59-46 on April 3, to claim the 2007 women's NCAA national championship.
