Star of David.

Passover, one of the most commonly observed Jewish holidays, commemorates the flight of the Israelites from Egypt under the reign of Pharoah Ramses II. The holiday is celebrated on the 15th day of the Jewish month, Nissan. In 2009 this celebration begins at sundown on April 8th and continues for 8 days.

Passover is a celebration of freedom and family, with family visits and dinners, called Seders; special foods, songs and readings of the story of Passover.
