John Henry Hager, born in 1936, ended his term as Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in January 2004, although he continued working with Governor Warner's cabinet through May 2004. He is currently serving as Assistant Secretary, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. A lifelong athlete, he has competed in many wheelchair races.
