• AARP Tax-Aide Program
  Free help in preparing and filing state and federal returns is available through the AARP Tax-Aide program, which provides free tax assistance service for low- and middle-income taxpayers, with special attention given to those 60 and over.

NOTE: AARP Tax-Aide Program services are generally available from February 1 through April 15 of each year. Check back in early 2009 for local-area program locations and schedules.

• Fairfax County CASH Program
  The Fairfax County CASH (Creating Assets, Savings and Hope) program offers free federal and state income tax preparation services to working families with annual household incomes of less than $40,000.

  NOTE: CASH Tax preparation services are generally available from February 1 through April 15 of each year. Check back in early 2009 for local-area locations and schedules.
