New Member Appointed to Library Board of Trustees
Michael S. Donovan has been appointed to a three-year term on the Fairfax County Public Library Board of Trustees by Braddock District Supervisor John C. Cook. He fills the position recently occupied by David C. F. Ray.
Donovan, a resident of Fairfax County since 1992, currently lives in the Fairfax area with his wife, a native of Northern Virginia. He isa civilian employee of the Department of Defense and serves in the Army Reserve. He earned an MBA at Regis University in Denver, Colo., and a B.S. degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. His twin daughters are freshmen at James Madison University.
“We are lucky to live in an area that offers such exceptional library services. I am honored by this appointment and look forward to representing the Braddock District and ensuring the tradition of high-quality library services continue,” said Donovan.
