Grants Research and Training Center
The Grants Research and Training Center (GRTC) is a partnership between the Office of Public Private Partnerships and the Fairfax County Public Library. The Center is a cooperating collection of the Foundation Center and provides access to databases that help nonprofit grant seekers identify grant opportunities. The GRTC also offers workshops and resources on how to use Foundation Center tools and apply for grants.

Foundation Directory Online Professional is the nation's leading
online funding research tool. Updated weekly, it provides the most
accurate details available on over 100,000 U.S. funders and corporate
donors and their grants.
Foundation Grants to Individuals Online consists of over 8,500 foundation and public charity programs that fund students, artists, researchers and other individual grant seekers.
Philanthropy In/Sight® is an interactive mapping tool that combines the Foundation Center’s data on grant makers and their grants with familiar Google maps to reveal patterns of giving and funding relationships. Plus, users can overlay grant data with their choice of over 150 demographic, socio-economic, and other data sets to create compelling visual portraits showing where philanthropy has made an impact and where opportunities exist to fill critical needs.
