A comprehensive genealogical research collection is available in the Virginia Room at the Fairfax City Regional Library. Most of the Fairfax County Public Library branches have "how to" books on genealogy. Materials in many formats on Virginia, other states and countries can be accessed using the catalog. The CD-ROM version of Family Search and other materials on CD-ROM are cataloged and available. There is also access to free and paid genealogy databases in the Virginia Room and the branches. Call the Virginia Room at 703-293-6383 for more information.
