Books
returned to the Fairfax County Public Library which
are owned by other libraries and stamped
with the name of non-Fairfax County Public Library
branches are routed to our Technical Operations
branch. Books without any designation of ownership
are kept in the branch's lost and found. Technical
Operations returns Fairfax County Public School
(FCPS) books via courier daily to the FCPS Chapel
Square Media Center. Technical Operations returns
all other books daily to the owning libraries via
courier for Metropolitan Washington public libraries
or weekly by U.S. mail.
