Plant identification samples may be brought to any library branch to be forwarded to the Fairfax County Cooperative Extension. No fee is charged. A plant identification diagnostic form, which must be completed and accompany the sample, is available at the Library branches. Plant samples must not be completely dead, and should contain as much plant as possible. Both healthy and sick tissues, especially the area where the two intersect, are needed for analysis.
