- All students age 12-18 as of September 2009 are eligible.
- Submit your video either on a DVD or VHS tape (must be viewable on a DVD player or VCR.)
- Each filmmaker or group may submit only one video. You may enter as a group, but each person must submit their own entry form.
- Videos will be judged on originality, artistic expression,
and technical merit.
- Videos must be no longer than five minutes, total running
time, including credits.
- Submit one copy of your video to your library
branch by September 5, 2009.
- The Cool Clips committee reserves the right to disqualify
DVDs/videos which are inappropriate for general audiences.
- Winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony at
the Pohick Regional Library
on October 19.
- Pick up your video at the awards ceremony
or from your library after the ceremony.
- Winning entries may be posted to the Fairfax Library Foundation's Web site. If you would like to post, we will need a release form and copyrighted material cannot be used.
