Position Title: Book Discussion Group Coordinator
Branch: Available at several branches
Department: Information or Circulation
Supervisor: Reader's Advisor
Length of Commitment: One year
Time Involvement: 6 to 12 hours per month
Position Summary:
Assists branch staff in planning and promoting book discussion series.
Attends monthly meetings.
Major Responsibilities:
Works with staff to provide suggestions for titles for the group and
puts the titles on hold. May facilitate meetings.
Qualifications:
Good communications skills. Knowledge of popular materials. Ability to
work well with others. General familiarity with libraries. Commitment to
scheduled time/promptness.
