Position
Title: Grant Development Coordinator (Volunteer)

Length of Commitment: 12 months minimum
Time Involvement: minimum of 4 hours per week
Position Summary:
Identifies grant opportunities. Develops proposals and
manages their submission.
Major Responsibilities:
Systematically reviews grant announcements on the Internet.
Obtains applications and verifies suitability and eligibility.
Presents proposal concepts to the Grant Development Team
at biweekly meetings. Forms an appropriate team to jointly
write the proposal. Reviews, scores, and revises. Coordinates
the submission of final grant proposal.
Qualifications:
Ability to search online. Wordprocessing and writing skills.
Aptitude for budget development. Enjoys challenges and
teamwork. Full training provided. Availability during
weekday daytime hours.
